AHCOPA is seeking an AmeriCorps VISTA to serve as our Communications and Outreach Associate for the August 2026 - August 2027 service year. We’re looking for someone passionate about housing and excited to spend a year supporting stable homeownership opportunities for families in Philadelphia.

AmeriCorps VISTA is a national service organization created to alleviate poverty across the country. Our AmeriCorps VISTA member is a part of the Housing Action Corps, led by Housing Action Illinois (HAI).
AmeriCorps members receive a $957 bi-weekly living allowance, a $500 monthly housing stipend, healthcare, EBT, paid personal and sick leave, and forbearance/deferment of student loan payments.
After completing a year of service, AmeriCorps members may choose between the Segal AmeriCorps Education Award of $7,395 or a cash stipend of $1,803.
