AHCOPA’s Housing Counseling Academy, sponsored by the National Housing Resource Center, is an 8-week course that will prepare you to pass the HUD certification exam, a requirement to enter the career field. The Housing Counseling Academy is taught by AHCOPA’s certified and highly experienced housing counselors. Classes are taught virtually, 2 days a week and the program includes mock counseling session, self-care development, a pre-test and study guides.
Enrollment Cost: $50 for 8-week course for Pennsylvania residents and $400 for out of state residents.
Spring 2026 Semester:
Begins Tuesday April 21
Runs through June 11
Tuesdays and Thursdays from 3:00 – 5:00 PM
Mandatory Orientation:
