Through First Front Door (FFD), FHLBank Pittsburgh (Bank) will work with one of our member financial institutions to assist with your closing costs and down payment. For every $1 of contribution you make, the Bank will provide $3 in grant assistance, up to a maximum of $5,000.

HUD’s mission is to create strong, sustainable, inclusive communities and quality affordable homes for all. HUD is working to strengthen the housing market to bolster the economy and protect consumers; meet the need for quality affordable rental homes; utilize housing as a platform for improving quality of life; build inclusive and sustainable communities free from discrimination, and transform the way HUD does business.

The Division of Housing and Community Development (DHCD) supports an affordable, healthy and vibrant Philadelphia. DHCD advances that mission through four key goals:

  1. Preventing homelessness by keeping people in their homes
  2. Increasing affordable housing by producing new units
  3. Strengthening communities by eliminating blight and promoting neighborhood planning
  4. Creating jobs by attracting and retaining businesses

We aim to make consumer financial markets work for consumers, responsible providers, and the economy as a whole. We protect consumers from unfair, deceptive, or abusive practices and take action against companies that break the law. We arm people with the information, steps, and tools that they need to make smart financial decisions.

NCRC and its grassroots member organizations create opportunities for people to build wealth. We work with community leaders, policymakers and financial institutions to champion fairness in banking, housing and business development.
